Wow. It’s been a while…about 2 1/2 months since my last entry. So much for commitments and plans to write daily!!! Hahaha…and as my friend Salima has taught me… check your ego at the door!
These past few months have seen me prep for my retreat or ‘residency’ I pompously call my holiday in PEI. Its also seen me morph thru another few layers and ‘level up’ to where I’ve had a few epiphanies – clearing the way to help ME see what I’m supposed to be ‘doing’ here. Now. Thru this journey to health and healing….there HAS to be some point to all of this drama in my life!
And…..its GOD. Its about my journey with God, and how He has rescued me in MY life. Its about my testimony, and my need to write about it in a safe space. A space that is sacred, true and absolutely authentic to me, and my words.
And like the movie says…’if you build it, they will come ‘…lol. So here’s the vehicle and ‘story place’ ….the blog is already set up, and my Sparkly Unicorn Webmaster is on high alert!
Hopefully it’ll be read, enjoyed and even encouraging to some readers, please God. But for me, it’s enough to write the words and thoughts from my heart, down onto ‘paper’. That’swhat i feel I need to do.
I am so blessed to have Him walk with me every day. He found me 3 years ago, on this little PEI beach that I now call my ‘heart home’ – Dawdle Haven. It’s taken me 3 years to get back here, and my pledge for this blessing and gift from God, is to do what I feel I’m being called to do! This blog! 😏😁
I’ve always wanted to write. All my last 60 years, anyway. Facebook posts seem to be my ‘thing’, and I’ll fully admit I LOVE seeing the emojis collect and the number of readers soar above 20!!!!! So please feel free to comment or provide polite feedback….my ego isn’t fully checked at the door, yet!
I am flying by the seat of my pants here, with no format, agenda or idea of what’s to come…..you may see daily posts. Maybe not? Maybe hourly, if it’s a ‘good’ day. 😁 Think of a female Stuart MacLean, telling stories about how God enriches her crazy dramatic life! And…NO PUNCTUATION/ SPELLING or GRAMMAR COPS HERE! I’ve got Fibromyalgia- I’m bound to miss some errors! 🤣🤣🤣
